SILK ART CARING

Silk is a delicate fabric and needs to be taken care of by handling gently. The silk scarf can be washed once a month or 2 months depending on how often it’s used. Cold water hand wash with a mild soap, gently make lather by lightly pressing between palms, then rinse in cold water until it’s clear of soap, gently squeeze to remove excess water. Hang in shade until damp dry, iron for 2-3 minutes on the wrong side covered with a cotton sheet on silk settings until smooth and dry. Hang on a hanger when not in use for safekeeping.

As for the silk paintings, don’t hang them in direct sunlight, rather away from it so the colors stay vibrant. Occasionally gently dust it with a dry cloth to clean it.
